Well, it's been a while since I've done an update but we have been busy in the background doing lots of work on our Calendar. Thanks to Conor of Conor Williams Photography especially for all his work, it definitely wouldn't have come together without all his input!
We had so many great pictures to choose from so the selection process took some time but the final result is something we can all be proud of. To take on a project like this and bring it to fruition has been a great achievement and I sincerely hope that the calendar will become a yearly project.
All the pictures in the calendar are taken by our own members and are based around our lovely town.
Many of us are beginners and it is very exciting to see our work in print. It is a great testament, also, to the enthusiasm of the group and our willingness to learn and try new things. And we have all benefited from Conor's expertise and his very enjoyable courses.
The official calendar launch will take place this Friday, 30th November at 7 p.m. in Woodbine Books in Kilcullen. We are very appreciative of their help and support. Big thanks also, to all our sponsors who have made it possible by their generosity!
